Thoughts on The Great Pursuit:
The Great Pursuit is the 2nd and final book in the Eurona duology. Read my review on the first book, The Great Hunt, HERE.
Very quickly after finishing the first book in the duology, I picked up AND finished this second book.
There is always the stigma that the second of a series is not going to be as good as the first.
However I this wasn’t an issue because The Great Pursuit is just a continuation of The Great Hunt, compared to a wrapped up story with a sudden cliffhanger.
I mean, this is basically an extension of The Great Hunt. It couldn’t just end like that! Pax and Aerity had to be together, right!?
(But The Great Pursuit had to be its own separate book because of the page count. This is quite a dozy just looking at the size.)
Nothing in the plot surprised me or caught me off guard. But it still very much enjoyed this book by Wendy Higgins.
While this series will not beat Wendy Higgin’s earlier series, The Sweet Trilogy, this Eurona Duology was a pretty good read.
